Delivery

We deliver orders within Finland. The estimated delivery time is shown for each product on its product page and may vary between products.

If an order contains products with different estimated delivery times, the order will normally be shipped together according to the longest estimated delivery time shown for the products in the order.

We always aim to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information. Weekends, public holidays or unexpected carrier delays may occasionally affect the estimate. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you.

Shipping costs and carriers

We arrange delivery using a suitable delivery service. Orders are primarily delivered by Matkahuolto or Posti, although the carrier and delivery method may vary depending on the shipment and destination.

Returns and right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. To exercise this right, notify us clearly of your decision within the 14-day withdrawal period. After notifying us, the goods must be returned within 14 days.

For a standard return under the right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

Products should be returned carefully packaged with all included parts, accessories and labels. You may inspect the product in the same way as you reasonably could in a physical store. If it has been handled beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning, any resulting reduction in value may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.

Certain products may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where a lawful exception applies, for example products made or clearly personalised to the customer's specifications.

How to make a return

1. Notify us of your decision to return the product and include your order number.
2. We will provide the necessary return instructions.
3. Keep proof of return shipment until the return and refund have been processed.

Refunds

If you withdraw from the entire order, we will refund the price paid for the returned products and the €4.90 standard delivery charge originally paid for the order. If the original order qualified for free delivery, there is no original delivery charge to refund.

For a partial return, we refund the price of the returned products. We do not retrospectively charge €4.90 if a partial return reduces the retained order value below the free-delivery threshold.

The customer remains responsible for the cost of sending products back to us in a standard return. Refunds are made using the original payment method unless another method has been expressly agreed.

We will process the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a product for another size or product, please contact us before returning it. An exchange is not treated as a full withdrawal, and the original €4.90 delivery charge is not refunded as part of an exchange.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the original product. For an approved exchange, For Tails And Wings covers the delivery cost of sending the replacement product to you. If there is a price difference, the difference will be charged or refunded as applicable.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible. If the product is faulty or we delivered an incorrect product, you will not be responsible for the necessary return costs. Your statutory rights regarding defective products are separate from and are not affected by the 14-day right of withdrawal described above.
